Our Story
I studied Graphic Design at Middlesex University, specialising in photography and screen printing. After graduation I worked in publishing for a number of years until a career change led me into the theatre industry, working in lighting and electrics on many West End shows including Mamma Mia, Wicked, Book of Mormen, The Lion King, Aladdin and Mary Poppins. My Nana and Mum taught me to use the sewing machine, knit, sew and make clothes and my Great Grandmother was a Milliner. took a number of short Theatrical Millinery courses taught by Jane Smith at Morley College, then Level 1 Millinery at Kensington and Chelsea College (KCC) taught by Noel Stewart before undertaking the full-time HNC Millinery course at KCC in 2015. I gained work experience during the HNC with Fransisco Rico, working on hats for Disney’s musical Aladdin in London and Australia. Since leaving KCC I have worked for Stephen Jones, Pier Atkinson, Fransisco Rico, Atelier Millinery, and a freelance milliner for Lock & Co, the Worlds oldest hat shop and Awon Golding. As well as selling online and at London markets, I have made hats for Ascot, weddings, reenactments, exhibitions, pantomimes, theatre and magic shows.

My gardening journey started from a young child helping my Grandads and Mum in the garden. Growing vegetables and being as self sufficient as possible are extremely important to me and would like to share any knowledge of my passions.
